Memorial Day Fun

We had a pretty fantastic Memorial Day weekend. By the grace of God, I managed to wake up feeling pretty good. We started the day with breakfast cooked by daddy and then it was clean up time. My floors were in need of some serious mopping. I dont know about all you other mommies out there but I try and I LOVE to come home to a fresh clean pinesol smellin house. Now I know it can't happen all the time but I try my best ;0 My friends keep telling me this is something that I have to let go of, especially with 2 kiddos. It's a work in progress! I am trying to be OK with messy (fyi...it's so hard!) I wonder if there are any other mommies out there with more than one child who share my OCD!? Anyway, enough of my rant. After my house was clean :) we headed to my in-laws house for a wonderfully delicious dinner. We visited for a while and then it was POOL TIME! Isabelle had been looking forward to this day since the pool closed last fall. I didn't join daddy and Belle this time, instead I stayed on the sidelines and took photos and enjoyed watching my girl have a good time with her papa bear. I just love little daddy's girls. I know she feels so safe in his arms. She thought she was such a brave girl swimming all over the pool by herself with her floaties...that is until daddy tried to teach her how to dunk her head under water :/ Oh those daddy's can be so rough sometimes. She learned how to hold her breath under water though. It was time for the pool to close so we headed home and ended the night with a nice warm tubby (bath) and snuggled in bed with popcorn and a movie. It was the perfect end to a perfect day...until...my nausea decided to rear its ugly head at 11p.m :) Oh the joys of pregnancy!!! Here are some of the sweetest photos from our pool adventures.

And then there were TWO...

I finally decided it was time to get myself one of these here blogs that every other mommy I know has. I'm a bit computer challenged so It took me a while to  find the time and energy to set one up. My husband and I recently found out we are expecting another child and we are super excited!!! Our 4 year old Isabelle was quite shocked and amazed that I could let anyone else grow inside me besides her :) I am about 12 weeks along and sicker than a dog. This pregnancy is far worse than the first one and I feel like I'm going to die! jk! It is pretty intense though. I'm looking forward to the morning that I wake up with no nausea, I'm not sure I will know how to react though. Well with all that to say my husband and I are looking forward to the sweet chaos to come and couldn't be happier. Isabelle is pretty stoked. Here she is holding a sono of her sweet little brother or sister (if she doesn't get a sister she will for sure have a meltdown!).
